iHome Sleep is a feature rich alarm clock app allowing users to set fully customized bedtime and wakeup routines. Sleep to calm sounds, wake to your music, and read Overnight News, a summary of what happened on your social feeds while you were sleeping. iHome Sleep also provides users with a useful sleep log, and sleep stats so you can begin monitoring and improving your sleep.
IMPORTANT TO NOTE: iHome Sleep must be running in the foreground in order to trigger your alarms. Do not lock your device or otherwise put it in the background before you go to sleep. Also, in our settings we did not have the option to turn on Overnight News, so even though their description still includes this, it may be something they have removed from the app.
- Download and open the app and you’re met with a warning from iHome Sleep that this app must be running in the foreground in order for it to work. So before you go to bed at night, bring this app to the foreground.
- The app may have also asked to use your current location, and you want to allow this so the time, weather, and news is correct.
- To get started, add a new alarm at the bottom of the screen by clicking the + button.
The app looks quite different on Apple and Android devices, so here are some screenshots for both that should help get you started.
