Wi-Fi Finder

wifi finderWi-Fi Finder: Apple / Android

Never worry again about finding a Wi-Fi Internet connection. “Near Me” search is based on current location. The app scans for free or paid public Wi-Fi hotspots around you. There are more than 45,000 free locations in over 104 countries. The spots are plotted on a map, with Phone numbers and address. You can filter by location type (Cafe, Library, etc.)
and save your favorites. There is a database you can download for offline access.

Getting started

  1. Download and open the app.
  2. Click on the Find Free Public Wi-Fi Near Me button. (Or, you can search for Wi-Fi worldwide, or use the Offline W-Fi Finder.)
  3. You’ll then want to give the app access to your location so it can find places near you.
  4. You’ll then see places near you with wifi and you can click on a place name to read more about it.

Here are some screenshots to get you started.

There really isn’t much more to this app, and it’s so easy to use, that this is about all we have to tell you. Poke around and look at some of the other things you can do and then write a blog post about how you think this could be helpful for you.
